We Met

We matched on Facebook dating. We had dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings, got Crumbl cookies, and went to Little Woodrow’s in Beaumont. We had so much fun together that Rachel invited Markham to hang out with her and her friends the next day, and the rest is history.

We Became Official

We had been hanging out all day every weekend and figured that we may as well make it official since we clearly enjoyed each other’s company and were not interested in pursuing other people.

He Proposed

We took a trip to New Orleans for Christmas. Rachel did not expect a proposal during this trip even though this was her ideal place for one because the engagement ring was not ready. Markham surprised her by buying a blue topaz ring at a local shop and proposed at one of her favorite spots in the city, the Mississippi River.

Dress Code

We request that our guests dress in formal or cocktail attire. A suit or dress shirt with tie for men and a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates for women are ideal. Please no jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops, baseball caps, or athletic wear.
